Here is a little bit about Tiffany...
Hailing from Florida with roots in Atlanta and Chickamauga, Tiffany is a southern girl at heart. After graduation from Appalachian State University in Boone, North Carolina (the state that dominates in southern furniture), Tiffany moved to Atlanta, the capital of southern style. She took her love of the Carolina style with her, and even though she worked in broadcasting (producing CNN documentary Perspectives) her heart was longing to design. Tiffany began working with her mother on a few design projects and was hooked. Enrolling in the interior design program of the Art Institute of Atlanta was the next logical step. Tiffany was born for design. After being recommended by her professor for an internship at famed Atlanta design firm Peace Design. That internship turned into a job, which was the perfect introduction into the southern style to which Tiffany was drawn.
While living in Atlanta, Tiffany often traveled to Chattanooga for work and play, immediately feeling drawn to the areas culture and style. She often remarked to friends " One day I will live there!" Even after relocating to Miami Beach to work for design firm Peeples Rionda, Tiffany still felt drawn to Chattanooga feeling that "Her two favorite places Atlanta and Boone , had a baby and named it Chattanooga." Tiffany knew she would one day open her own firm and that siren song of Chattanooga would lead her home.
Southerly Abode is the fruition of that draw to Chattanooga. Her vision is "to fulfill clients dreams of creating uniquely wonderful spaces for their everyday lives. " By using furniture craftsman, home accessories and art work made exclusively in the south in her designs as well as offering an online store that features these items, she will achieve her vision for clients. Southerly Abode is a full service southern interior design firm and Tiffany can work with architects and builders from the planning stage to completion, or simply offer color consultation for one room. Her scope of work can include incorporating pieces clients have collected over the years or starting fresh with a clean slate creating that warm southern charm found in such magazines as Architectural Digest, Veranda and our own Chatter Magazine. Tiffany's style as well as on info can be found on her website and her social media outlets including Facebook, Instagram and Pinterest. This is a southern interior design firm that truly gets what it means to have southern style.
Here is a review of one of current clients who used Tiffany to help ready their home for listing: "Tiffany and her mom are great to work with. They were very helpful in advising with choice of paint colors for the house. Lots of fun to work with and very knowledgeable". We have had several clients, both buyers and sellers, use Tiffany and Southerly Abode's design services and the results have been wonderful.
