River Gallery Exhibit Reception
The new January exhibit in the Bluff View'sRiver Gallery opens today with a reception attended by two of the featured artists.Chattanooga is fortunate to have a vibrant art community and the River Gallery is one of the many galleries that features unique artists. Located in a converted 1900's home, the gallery features art including paintings, sculpture and jewelry. Reception is tonight from 6:30-8pm and features food and drink along with viewing of the beautiful and provoking works of art. Free. 400 E 2nd Street. Grab an early or late dinner at Back Inn Cafe or Tony's Pasta Shop, both located on the bluff.
Are you one of those special people who creates things that people actually want to own? Lucky you! This Saturday, you can learn if you have what it takes to set up and Etsy online shop. From naming your shop to learning to tag your items for search, you will learn the nuts and bolts of setting up a successful Etsy shop. Free, but requiring registration, this 2.5 hour workshop is held at the dowtown branch of the Chattanooga Public Library. 12-2:30 Saturday. 1001 Broad Street.
Brunch on the Bluff
The Hunter Museum of American Art is one of the jewels of Chattanooga. Sunday, enjoy brunch while you take in the stunning views from the museum and experience live music from Courtney Holder, one of Chattanooga's new up and coming musicians. Brunch ticket includes admission to the museum for the day and is $30 for members, $35 for non-members. What a great way to finish off the weekend, enjoying good food,art and live music. 11am-1pm. 10 Bluff View.
